Mirage - Making An Impression
Mitsubishi has a new player in the subcompact market, it is light but it
sure has some big ambitions. We all know that there are several big names in
the small car arena like Suzuki, Honda and Nissan, and all of them have
produced cars that made it big in the auto industry. Suzuki swift alone is one
of the most sought after subcompact car, because of its design and performance.
However, the odds maybe against Mitsubishi but this have pushed them to resume
the production of their new ace - the all new Mitsubishi Mirage.
This particular car has ceased production in 2003 but it made an impression
in the market that it managed to build a loyal fan base. This year it made
another comeback, and hopefully it will stay as one of the major production
cars of Mitsubishi in South East Asia. Basically, it is powered by a 1.2-litre
engine (3 cylinders) and it weighs around 870kg. It is built for city driving
with less emission and very fuel efficient. Able to run a respectable 4.1L/100
km using an unleaded gasoline and this could be one of its primary selling
points that every auto consumer is looking for.
