If you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to
digital video entertainment, then you better think again. Our current digital
video capability is not yet what we hope for and falls short like an old 35mm
film. In order to get the best resolution, video equipment manufacturers have
to pack thousands of pixels to produce the videos we’ve seen on HDTVs. Also,
take note that 1080p refers to the number of vertical pixels found on Led
Screens.
When it comes to 4k technology the vertical pixels
on the screen is approximately 2000. However, 4k standards are still on its
developing stages but you might have seen films that were shot with 4k capable
cameras. Movies like the Amazing Spiderman and Prometheus were among the most
detailed movies when it comes to video quality.
This 2013, manufacturers are vying for the top spot
and they’re exerting every effort to roll out 4k capable displays. The first
company to embrace this new technology is Sharp and will start selling 4k
monitors and 32-inch Led Screens that only measures 3.5mm thick. The target
date will be this February and all of their product will have 2 HDMI connectors.
This will allow any user to connect these screens on a PC or any home
entertainment devices.
The only question now that needs to be answered are the
contents that will be available for these products. Most electronic consumers
are weary of buying new products that only offers few movie selections. So, you
can expect a slow start for the 4k Led TV and 4k computer monitors. But in the
long run, when more movies are created in 4k technology – you can expect more
people to buy this new digital entertainment product.
My say on the new 4k technology – we’ve seen this
before and we know our Led TVs maybe obsolete in the next 2 years. As new video
formats are introduced on the market, but one thing is certain for most
electronic consumers. They will always look at the price and the number movie
titles on that particular device.
I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that's at the other blogs. Thanks for sharing this
